SANDY HALKETT is a fierce Pickleball player and an LPGA Class A Professional. She’s been teaching golf for over 20 years. Her career has involved Coaching Division I Collegiate Golf, teaching at LPGA Clinics and Schools. She teaches children and adults of every playing level. Sandy is also certified as an Adaptive Golf Instructor and partners with Roger C. Peace; providing instruction for anyone with a disability. Sandy has been a longtime Special Olympics Golf Coach.
Sandy competes regularly in Pickleball tournaments and eagerly shares playing tips with Upstate Pickleball players. She is also an active Ambassador for USA Pickleball.
Sandy is married to Scotty Halkett, the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at USC Upstate. They have 3 children, 3 cats, 1 dog and a turtle. Besides playing golf, she loves spending time with family, fishing and of course, playing pickleball. Sandy always has a welcoming smile and is ready to help you with your Pickleball (or golf) game.
